Hi, What does this fish eat? is it aggressive? I dont know much about it, but It looks cool. I am from S. Ca.

Its an ambush predator...i have it on feeders right now. But going frozen silversides is probably the best. Aggressive towards other wolves yes.

wolf fishes are pretty agressive..theyre teeth will rip through many things..the hoplias malabarcus is the common one and the hoplias microlepis and hoplias aimara are the ultra rare ones. of course the aimara is more rare, i have yet to see it for myself. i heard that the microlepis is only found by itself, so im assuming it is very solitary. when i tried to bag the microlepis up, he bit and tore through 16 fish bags..i had to take to my lfs to bag him up, and went through 10 more bags there..their teeth is just..iono ..u just have to see it for urself
