Hoplo cats

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A type I have yet to keep so interested to hear more. Just bought two brown and two albino of the "common type" we see a lot here, Megalchis Thoracata, as hoping to breed these in a year myself if I have a decent pair.
Yours should be great only reaching the three inch mark.

I ordered a couple more, tbh. They should be arriving Tuesday.

I DONT KNOW WHY THESE AREN'T MORE POPULAR!

These are so cute and much easier to accommodate for those with tanks smaller. Very active so I think a 30-40 should still be the minimum, but so much easier to mesh into smaller community tanks.

Hoping to get a male in the new ones. The current one is female. Id love to breed these as honestly theyre the perfect size for a "different" catfish than the typical smaller cories.

I am so very happy I found this species. So far is not even rough on my plants. She gets along great with everyone. Even the 1.5 month old platy juvenile in the same tank.
