Amazing set up and fish! Just spent a bit of time watching your videos and reading the thread, impressive stuff! Here is a video of my tank, a few fish still to add once they grow out a bit.

Love your tank. Tastefully and naturally decorated. The fish are all pretty, colorful. Indeed, I too am surprised how relaxed your suncats are. What are the large, red-finned cyprinids? Are you calling them barbs? If so, what kind of barb?

Thank you! Yeah I'm surprised at how confident they are after hearing so many people say they're usually shy and nocturnal. They are leptobarbus rubripinna, both are around 12" but they can reach over 24", very greedy fish!

I see. Mad barbs they are, hard to tell from the long-known Leptobarbus hoevenii. Thanks. I've refreshed my memory and read up more on them. Max 80-100 cm. Arapaimag's one was 26" ~5 years ago in his 52,000 gal.
