Horned Lizard

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
He is way too skinny. Used to catch them wild and keep them for a while back home. Main diet was ants and other small insects. If you get him in shape just be careful how you hold him. Those horns on the back of the head are not just for looks or defense only. Also back then we called them horny toads.

Yea ive heard, im trying to keep him active as well. Ive got the ants on the way so the formic acid with help him with digestion. Just wish me all that luck!

THANKS!

PS - Ill be sure to stay away from his horns too lol

When i worked at Petsmart alotta people would bring these in asking me what to feed them. We have em wild out here. I would tell people that your best bet it to let go where you found it becuase of how picky eaters they are. But i think i heard that they are illegal to catch our here in Elsinore/Socal but i may be mistaken. Good Luck by the way!
