There are exceptions to every rule, some do live it out to have a decent life in captivity, but in all reality a large portion of the ones available die. Most because people are ill informed on how to keep them, and the other few because people have great intentions....but still fail because of the animals delicate state.
 
I agree. I think this is another one of those species that is best left to the professionals, or left in the wild where it belongs.

Very good decision in my opinion. There are other great desert dwelling alternatives.
 
ya i read that they used to be on the endangered list
but i dont understand why you would want them to squirt blood from there eyes by feeding them citric crickets??
