yeah you could of stopped it...

To respond to if feeding live fish makes them more agressive, maybe. I have fed my RTC only pellets, bloodworms, and beef heart. So far he has not attacked any tankmates, which are; 2 9 inch phantom knife fish, 2 xray tetra, 2 glass fish 2 neon tetra and 3 scissor fish. So far he hasnt been agressive let-alone eat one of them. But more then his diet being live or not I BELIEVE IT IS THE TANK SET-UP THAT IS MOST INPORTANT. I like the realistic look so i made him a HUGE cave out of slate 18x18 and put a nice peice of driftwood which give the smaller fish a place to dash and hide. Having them in an open tanks makes them more agressive and aggitiated. Giving that he spends 99% of the day sleeping in it, I couldnt imagine him every being agressive or a danger to other fish in the tank.

Spyder unfortunately the fish in your tank are ALL on your RTC's menu :screwy:
I would put my house on it that at some point he will eat your fish.
He's a predator, that's what predators do.

yea i hear you. i have rocks set up for my fish to take cover. But like i stated before i got the big tank for him in the 1st place. i feed mine sardines and pellets he comes out and patrols the tank and everyone moves out his way as they are no dummies....lol

I had a RTxTSN.. never hurt a thing.. would sit on the bottom of the tank with his mouth open and wait for shrimp pellets to drop in.

Then my fiance got a 6" $50 bichir.. he wasn't there the next day.. I told him NOT to put it in there, but because there were other bichirs in there, he thought it would be ok.

My RTxTSN got evicted at 20"... He was only 6 months old.
