Horrible day last week

How the hell do you get so drunk that you fall into and knock over a 120 gallon tank. The only way I see this happening is if this drunk knucklehead was 7' tall, 400 lbs, and you had the stand of the 120 built with 1x1s and staples and resting on a bed of marbles. Im sorry, but things just don't add up here....

ultimately, it was her fault. she said it wouldn't happen, and it happened. she didn't make the effort to stop it from happening.

Of course, i'm not sure if I could realistically trust someone with the safety of my fish room.

although, i really don't have a fish room. all my tanks are in my living room.

Picturing a 7 foot tall 400lbs guy falling onto a stand constructed of 1x1 and staples on a bed of marbles made me laugh really hard.

So My 120gal is no more. My girl friend wanted to have a house party I agreed on the condition that NO ONE was allowed in my fish room. As the night went on every one was having a good time. When I noticed two dude walking in to my fish room a ran to intercept them. But as soon as I grabbed the door knob I heard it. The sound of glass shattering and gallons of water hitting the floor. Acting fast I grabbed all the buckets I had manage to salvage enough tank water in each bucket and save all of my stock. Unfortunately those ****ers ran out of my house before I could tear them apart. Right now Im cycling water in an 55 I have to temporarily house my stock untill i can get another 120.

If you don't know them, I assume that they are either friends/ associates with your girlfriend, or at least rode in on the coattails of YOUR friends! Please don't say that two arbitrary dudes that neither you, your friends or your girlfriend knew just happened to walk into your house "during a party" to destroy your fish tank and flee!

It should be reasonably easy to find out from your friends who the two dorks were if the later. It unfortunately truly sounds as if this was a vendetta, dude. It is probably the work of some x jerk of your girlfriend with a mad-on for you know and either was one of the two, or just put them up to it.

Either way your "challenge" is with your girlfriend, if you NEED to throw wild parties at YOUR home packed with strangers that you never met.

Again ultimately YOU ARE AT FAULT KID, GROW UP. If you are joking, fine. If not You have gotten the single WORST ADVISE EVER IN THE HISTORY of Monsterfishkeepers.com! It is over>(PERIOD>>.) Do yourself a favor and listen to the ONLY non-retarded reply that you have received. LET IT GO!

If you commit assault and battery on one (or both) of these individuals, It will almost certainly result in your imprisonment for a minimum of 30 days in the pokey. See how well your fish do then!

You have also posted all over the internet your "intentions" of committing this act of violence. I sure hope that you are a professional fighter and understand EXACTLY the non-lethal force to use and be "good" enough NOT to exceed that. One punch from a man in the right place can VERY EASILY kill a human being. (Ask Bas Rutten)! If the naughty boys die, can you say premeditated murder!

Way to go MFK advise guys, tell a poster who is obviously mojo pissed off right now, and probably more open to be swayed by your STUPID influence, that it is a good idea to seek a violent solution to a NOTHING issue in the bigger picture

1. Come to an agreement with your girlfriend to Grow Up!
2. Get use to and enjoy cleaning broken glass fish tanks and scrambling to "save your fish".
3. Make a serious decision, if you cannot afford or tolerate the number two option, between your party girl and your fish keeping hobby
4. Find a new girlfriend mature enough to live successfully in a home with valuables and breakables including your fish tank(s).

Wow, how did they break your tank so fast? You said you saw them go in the room and before you got there, unless you were 100 feet away, they sure broke the tank fast. It sure would be interesting to find out what they did. Maybe they were drunk and threw a beer bottle at it? The Doctor.

Sounds pretty idiotic to even allow that type of situation to manifest in your own place. If you feel the need to have people you don't know to party in your place, it's probably a good idea to actually "LOCK" doors to rooms you don't want people to enter.

Sorry to hear about your loss, hope you get a new tank up and running. try to get the guys that did it to at least come up with some of the money, violence will not solve the issue, just try to get some type of monies for your trouble and also have a good straight talk with your girlfriend.
