This mourning when I turned the lights on our frontosa tank all of our mature blue moba fronts were dead. Apparently yesterday sometime the kids were playing under the tank and shut off the filters these fish are worth about 200 dollars each and we had 11 of them. Now I am wondering how much of our bacteria culture we lost are we basically starting over or will alot of it survived any help will be great.

Thanks sure a crappy way to to start a day.

Were they canister filters?

Now would be a good time to get some latches and locks for the stand doors and put a backing on the back of the stand so this doesn't happen again.

We are looking at some locking latches no backing is needed but really want to now how the tank stands as far as the good bio load.

how do they die from jut the filters turning off? im just curious/ worried. are they very sensitive to water quality?
