TEXAS
LFS has all like 13 or so silver arowana in a 10 GALLON TANK:irked: . Notice the dead one...or two...at the bottom of the tank???? The sale price is 49.99 each and these arows are 4-5". I hate this LFS...crappy service and they think they know better than ervyone else. Tried to tell me 82-84 degrees is to "hot" for my healthy arowana tank. Will never go there again. I took a pic ha ha ha and i want to share with you. The name of the LFS is Texas Tropical, San Antonio Texas. I just walked out......shaking my head.

thats a damn shame.
guess the Texas meet aint going to be there

They should at least remove the dead one and have better filtration for that tank.....:(

i would have said somethign

if its me, i probably tell the boss off:WHOA:
and they got the cheek to sell such a price is too much
dead fish in a tank with other mates actually invites unwanted bacteria and germs and increases bio load (nitrates and ammonia) that is extremely harmful
this cannot be accepted and the license for this LFS can be dangling by the thread if a complaint can be made to the authority also
the shop sales men must be really lazy too i guess
what a sorry sight!

Actually, you cannot compare their selling price to ours here in singapore.:) But I do agree that with dead fish in there, the water condition will definately be greatly affected.

I did and they said "oh we will put it out at closing". Then I realized they had no other tank to put it in. Pretty much all the tanks were 10 gallon...maybe 15:irked: .

I bought 10" arowana for 49.99 in Houston. Those fish should be sold around 19.99 max!

Yeah that is the one exception I stated in the thread as a definite NOGO!!! They are jerks too up there. When I told the guy I keep my waters at 82-84 debrees...he told me that was too hot for the fish!!! He said I should let it be like 4-6 degrees cooler than that. I told him that it was unforunate he was telling people that information on Amazonian tropical fish.

if that would actually happen alot of places would be shut down. any dead fish will just be written off.
