HORRIBLE UPS Experience WWYD

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sounds like UPS messed up, but the seller clearly messed up first by trying to save some money on shipping. Pretty awful of them to do. Having had terrible experiences with UPS myself, I'd recommend Fedex if possible in the future.

How do you know some of the fish died when you haven't seen the package? If UPS decided to send the package back to the shipper, you may just let them do that, and request refund from the seller if the fish died, since he shipped it 2nd day, instead of Next Day

Well in a civilized country like germany, they would bust that crapshop. Hell its not even allowed here to send vertebrale animals via normal mail like UPS. Only certified animal transport companies are allowed to do that.

Go to UPS and demand a solution NOW. And stop posting nonsense here. Its about animals life!

well sorry the difference is, i care for the animals and would try to rescue them. That animals life have no value in america is a fact i often forget. That happens when you see a living being as object.

sorry to hear brother. Do you know where the package is being held? Rather than calling, emailing, etc. go to the office where it is being held & raise hell......well be nice at first..... ask to speak to the supervisor.... take a couple of friends for support....you'd be amazed at the exceptions made when they are confronted by real people vs a phone call. Go in with an attitude that you are not leaving without your fish. ALSO, like someone mentioned, this is the seller's fault 100% for not doing overnight. Did you pay in advance? Do you have the request in writing? The seller should make it right.

I wouldn't do that... If you force UPS to release the package, you may just release UPS and the seller from any liability...

stop the personal insults. It makes your comments insignificant.

beside that, i personal see the paid money as irrelevant right now. The only portant thing is to save the fish. Go to that UPS Freak and Tell them, that you want your fish now and accept no excuses.

good point from a legal stand point. maybe the buyer doesn't want to increase the chance of the fish dying.... maybe more concerned with the actual fish sent rather than the money... depends where the priorities lie..... very good point though.
