I dont know about anyone else but I'm a sucker for the old Universal classics as well as Hammer horror. Sometimes you just cant beat the originals

i agree. Nosferatu is still the creepiest vampire. and the old Hammers were great too. W/o them, I don't know how the new horror would be.

Richard, have you seen them? Not a lot of violence at all, but mostly psychological. It's in German though, I believe...

nosferatu is great silent and anything chaney sr. was perfect. But youre right Dave what would modern horror be without them. The more I watch modern horror and the new "plots and twists" they put in the movies the more they suck. Now everyone has some problem and they can't figure out how they're the killer, come on a chainsaw can fix anything

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is another good old movie. Yeah, I know what you mean about the new movies w/ people not knowing that they are the killers or it's one of their friends that faked their own death. The Changeline is one of my favorite haunted house type movies.

Dont laugh to hard but the original house on haunted hill I guess comes to mind. Ive got about 25 Vincent Price movies and all the midnite movies from mgm those were great. I havent seen that one your talking about but ill check it out

the original house on haunted hill where you can see the strings that the skeleton is hanging from? lol. It was cool though. a lot of people don't even know half the movies they watch now are remakes. like black christmas, it was the original slasher film before hallowen...

love horror movie have grown up watching them. When i was a kid some of my favorites where:
nightmare on elem street (all of them) pet semitary(not really horror, but scary), cujo (crazy dog, very intence), hell raiser (bloody ), aliens(just scary),

When I got older i loved : 13 ghosts( awsome special effects), 30 days of night (love vampire movies), constatine(pretty good),the hills have eyes(both of them where good), silent hill(scary)

I love Hellraiser, Pinhead is awesome. The original is the best.
