are you saying a dragon fly nymph crawled out of its tank, went your bed because was pissed no food in the tank, and bit you?
I had brought in a bunch of plants from the pond, to a window sump for the winter. The tank also had about 50 or 60 Mayaheros beanii fry. After bringing in the plants the beanii fry started quickly disappearing, but I couldn't find anything. Then one day (with only a dozen or so beanii left) saw this guy sitting in front of the glass, didn't know they had the ability to match surroundings.
Probably where the creators got the inspiration for the Alien creature.

I was in a shop once and spotted a dragonfly nymph in a feeder tank full of guppies,of all places.I asked the employee what it was and said he did not know but he did say that he liked it and didnt want to sell it or remove it at all.He knew that it fed on the guppies and he thought that that was cool to watch.
use to come up in the moss we pulled up looking for crawdads to fish with. , def predators. but not see them crawling from the tank, making the way to a bedroom to bite you. hey I may be wrong. not the first time. but it is a bit of a reach. even for them.
