Cold. less ur drip is from a storage container gravity fed then keep it at tank temp

But don't dose hot water from ur homes pressurized plumbing into your tank. Not sure on ur setup but ur go through more pre filter and or build up heavy metals and sediment in ur tank. If u have a lot of plants shouldn't be an issue.

Also with the drip by the time it gets from ur homes hot water to ur tank it will be room temperature. With a drip system the water will be the temp of the room the line is in(or close to it depending on length and flow rate)
