I just got a Geo.. S .. something today, I heard that this fish is very popular, correct?

I thought its aggressive, but it turn out its not, it got beat up by my anostomus

These guys do best in groups. It's going to have a short, lonely life if you keep it singly, which would be a terrible thing to do to a beautiful fish.

but in the shop, they have about 6-7 of these guys.. and they constantly beat the crap out of each other ..

I use to have 2 Anostomus, one died because one keep bully on the other

They were prolly all males with a single female. In a miniscule tank. Typical cichlid behaviour. More room will stop this.
