nope im at work the ol lady see it geuss rammed himagainst the glass in the gills then chomped his feather lil bit.... but that other sugestion wont work she does not lik african knifes... so no one knows any thing about gold line, or centipeede Knife fish? how bout reticulated?

gold line is stempygys macrurus, Banneded is Gymnothus Carpo, and mottled is Steatogenys Duidae.. if that helps...
So no one has raised any of these? Knows nothing of their temperment, availability, size or any of the feeding or care secrets???
Reticulated Knives usually refers to Papyocranus Afer which are highly aggressive and grows large (18"+) A Gold Line Knife is a lot like a BGK, but they also grow larger than a BGK. They can possibly get 30"+ Your best bet is a Brown Ghost Knife (Apteronotus Leptorhynchus). They don't get as large, have a greater sexual dimorphism (if you want to try to breed them) and have a better all around personality.
any one else got segestions on a Knife fish.. weird ones that peolpe just love cause they are hiddious.... would realy prefer something passive... but with fish geuss theres no garonty.... is planed to be the big guy in a community tank.. size realy isnt a issue... cause plannin on buildin couple of custom tanks in next week...
