hotter than hades!

I'm doing small w/c throughout the days, freezing soda bottles, and even risking some carpet surfing with taking off one of the covers to let the heat out of the tank! Peek's tank is over 90 deg at the moment and there's nothing else I can do to cool it down. Anyone know how much hotter this tank can get before it's fatal? I have an air pump running overtime to make sure there's enough oxygen for her to breathe, but it's stressing me out.
 
More importantly, any other ideas on how to cool it down? I can't afford a chiller so don't even suggest it. I already owe Mike about 250, so I can't borrow any more from him either. urgh
 
Wow 90 is max! Cover and lites off with a fan blowing air on the water line maybe even 2. Also point ur outakes or powerheads at the top so there's surface aggitation! Also more bubbles will help too, just make sure u don't put freezing water in and temp shock him! I have a fan under my stand and a circulator 3 inches below my water line and it blasts water up, these two methods help 4-5 degrees

Eh, I know they're mostly tank raised red bellies in our trade but you guys don't think piranhas don't end up in small water pools where the temp rises daily during a drought? Positive they can handle a spike in our home tanks.

The colder water and ice bottle go into the filter output, where it'll spread it around better. I'm sure the rainforest gets hotter from time to time, but it just worries me.

It may not be lethal but it is definatly going to cause stress, if it were me it would be a major concern but I guess with only one fish it cant be that bad, if it were a shoal they'd be ripping eachother in half. When mine hit 83+ they get way aggressive

Peek is more spazstic, that's it. She flipped her sh*t when I was trying to get the thermometer earlier. like zOMFG! O.o
