Yeah I've actually got some of their hardware, I just havent installed it because the depletion time of the catalytic carbon is so fuzzy to me that I'd be replacing it constantly out of paranoia. I was considering maybe looking into one of those whole home solutions just for the fish tanks

How high? I mean even if you're dropping 5ppm of nitrates in there it would still probably dilute the overall nitrates in the tank, and if you get the denitrator working at a decent capacity it would all but eliminate that too
Our tap is nitrate free, just really high ph due to the chloramine, but once you remove that the ph kind of plummets from thereIts pretty hard to over stock a 300g with a 100g sump
