Yeah I've actually got some of their hardware, I just havent installed it because the depletion time of the catalytic carbon is so fuzzy to me that I'd be replacing it constantly out of paranoia. I was considering maybe looking into one of those whole home solutions just for the fish tanks :P It would definitely reduce my maintenance by a huge margin and keep the fish healthier, so win win.

How high? I mean even if you're dropping 5ppm of nitrates in there it would still probably dilute the overall nitrates in the tank, and if you get the denitrator working at a decent capacity it would all but eliminate that too :o Our tap is nitrate free, just really high ph due to the chloramine, but once you remove that the ph kind of plummets from there

Low probably less than 5 ppm but didnt want my kids drinking it
