it looks like that....the fish tend to come forward but it is 12 feet front to back...it hard to get the feeling of the depth in a photo....

shoefreak's geos are AMAZING! those are the surinamensis, correct? i LOVE the trailers on that guy... and those loaches are HUGE!!!

I dont think they are surinamensis, from my understanding, true surinamensis are pretty rare in the hobby, plus the tail on the surinamensis are lined like the red head tapajos while the ones i have are spotted. any confirm?

You mean the barbs (Probarbus jullieni)? They're CITES I, which means that trade in specimens of these species is permitted only in exceptional circumstances.

They were the first fish I noticed from those photos. Don't see them much.
