how much do houses cost in your area? say a 3br, 2bath, garage, yard big enough for a dog, your standard family starter home. used a house like im describing would cost $280,000+ or so in my town.

oh i know spizz, ive checked it out. i grew up in wenatchee and ephrata/moses lake, love the east side but the old lady says NO WAY!
In my area (about 30 miles outside of Atlanta) you can get a nice used starter home for around $150k but values are going up. They keep building this area up and more and more people are coming this way and they are building neighborhoods that are 600k and up.
In my town now, 1 million plus (beach town), over the hill where I grew up, (10 miles inland), 600k.
I'm at the LA/San Bernardino border. 4bdr, 2 bath, 1650 sq. ft. 10k sq ft. yard, detached 2 car. Just took a huge hit on value.... $455,000.00dmopar74;1699423; said:
