Haha yeah, I did. I'll post an update on my thread when I get a decent pic - there's only maybe 10-20 fry that made it, so I can't get a decent shot where they don't just look like dust specks yet. They're maybe 2 days old.

Pair looks great, and congrats on the fry! I don't think I have anywhere near that many festae fry - not sure if that's due to it being their first attempt or if parachromis just have bigger clutches, but that cloud of fry looks really cool.

It was much bigger before quite a few of them got sucked up in the filter. I ended up taking the filter apart and probably scooping out at least a couple of dozen.

Yeah pretty interesting to see how they behave. I really expected quite a bit more chaos and terror. To be honest it's for the most part pretty calm from the outside. Sure the parents take off after the other fish here and there, but nothing too horrendous.
