Snowfall may affect travel plans this long weekend. Snow will continue today, mainly over higher elevations and taper off Saturday night over most regions. In the Crowsnest region, snow will continue into Sunday.Forecast snowfall amounts are highly uncertain and will be variable. Some areas may see little snow, but others may see snowfall accumulations of 10 cm or more under localized heavy snow bands.Prepare for rapidly changing and deteriorating road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced in heavy snow. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada

Same crap here. We had a number of nice warm days in the 70F range...extreme winds combined with dry conditions actually produced a bad duststorm just 2 days ago...but at the moment I am watching a Hummingbird scarfing up nectar from our feeder while big fat white flakes drift down around it. I've started to move the Goldfish out to the inground pond, not worried about them at all, but water temps in the stocktanks are down around 40F or less each morning so the wait continues. :(

I am located is the southern end of the Philippines. Just over 900 kilometers from the equator. So the hours of daylight and temps don't very much. Sunrise at 5:15 AM sunset at 5:45 at night. Temps are 90s daytime, 70s at night.

Just south of us where I am scheduled to be working this weekend it is currently 0 C, 33F, and snowing.

On my mother’s side, her kin owned a coffee plantation on the Virgin Islands. What the frick were they thinking?!%@

Yeah, I get as sick of winter as the next guy after a few months of it...but I could not move somewhere that's always warm like you did, Jexnell Jexnell . I enjoy the changing of the seasons, and I have interests that require all of those seasons.

Dang, I'll bet the ice fishing sucks around your area...:)
