how about this for CO2 injection?... comparatively

I like your idea actualy and i do think it will work. People forget how much plants pearl when they do a water change . This is because of all those microbubbles in the new water.
Water may reach a co2 equilibrium with air at 3-4 ppm but these tiny suspended bubbles stil have airs full blown concentration of 280 ppm of co2. Plants do have acccess to atmospheric co2 aslong as they are exposed to it (hence why growing them with their leaves out of the water and exposed to air makes them grow faster)

If you cna find a way of creating microbubbles with an air pump and having them blow over your plants it may work. At the very least it's worth a shot.

I actualy came up with an idea like this a few months ago but never got around to trying to implement it on my tank. (now im not even considering co2 as my new indian swampweed is growing fast enough without it....)

thanks, i think it might work. the plan is to get some more sand to create a deeper bed for plant roots, then go get lots of more plants and just go nuts creating a jungle, and then pick a species to try and breed. iv thought of cherry shrimp, and since they eat algae it wolnt be so bad that iv got lots of it :) if not cherrys maybe julli corys. cute little buggars with their little whiskers and all. it'll be fun to watch every day and see if some little critters pop up! i keep wanting my black kuhlis to breed but i think that's a bit on the far side.

this is my four hundredth post, fyi.
