how about we stop crying about the sands

how about we stop crying about all the sands.... all sand does have silica in it... there is no need to cry about it... when you buy a gritty sand it will cause problems... if your gonna buy sand look at something in the 000 range this is very smooth... upon being on google and i could care less to post the links you will see that pool filter sand is OMG silica sand... cry me a river... so how about we stop crying about it allready and A just do barebottom or B buy a smooth pebble or C buy a fine grade sand and not cry about it... seriously this forum is turning into cry babies over stupid crap... im banking on this getting deleted and i dont care but its rediculous try using google or another search engine and doing some damn research...

I use Caribsea Torpedo beach. It's a quartz sand that has small granules.
 
right on. sounds practical enough.
maybe there should be a sticky, or something... i mean, specifically for the sand issue.
... just for newbies and whoever else is stuck on the sand issue..? i don't know.
 
it should be common sence buy fine sand or just go bare bottom.... if its very smooth between your fingers its perfect... feels gritty dont use it... end of crying... buy smooth river pebbles... things are really so simple but people make things out to be complicated.........

Do you own sea world or something? Maybe your making sand art, but instead of a bottle, you're using your tank? Or is sarcasm dead through text.

This might be redundant on this thread, but is the sand THAT harmful?
