yes.... but people need to cry about things a lil too much... im still waiting for the cry me a river smilie...

it should be common sence buy fine sand or just go bare bottom.... if its very smooth between your fingers its perfect... feels gritty dont use it... end of crying... buy smooth river pebbles... things are really so simple but people make things out to be complicated.........

the thing is Nic no matter how much you try to educate people some people are not going to take any notice and do what they want. you see it on here people asking the same question over and over again until they get the answer they want.

i use sand with my pup's but not with the adults simply because the adults flick it up all over the place and it goes through the wier and down into the sump. the sand i use is VERY fine almost like dust it is. there is a patch of the tank where there is no sand (becase they move it) but they choose to stay in the sand and play.
