I'm gonna say your glass one is better. Any coralife thermometer I have ever seen has read like 10 degrees off. I just have the stick on ones on every tank.

Ive been using the glass one for years. They work fine. Just check them against another one. If tthey are close should be fine.

I have a sticker on the outside of the glass thermometer ,,was a $2 investment and has been on my tank 7-8 yrs..I have checked it with other types and it has never varied more than a couple degrees. im sure heaters fluctuate too so im staying with it. Thats close enough for me .. lol

I actually just found my first/old digital thermometer. It's a Coralife, lol. Thought I put it on one of my tanks to see if it still works. There's a temperature reading, but I just did a water change when I found it. I'll check it tomorrow to see if it matches what I set the heaters to.
