the video link in my sig has my videos on it, theres two videos in there of my old male having massive battles with a larger butti... only to be commed with other highly aggressive species in huge tanks.

I raised two different groups of eugh the. The first ones lasted for three and a half years. Never bred and the dominant female killed all the others by head butting the swim bladders. The second batch I had a dominate pair had three batches of fry then after a year and a half the dominate male killed the female. Gave up on these fish after spending $25 each the first time around and $165 the next

Red terrors are nasty, but not brutal like a red devil. Depending on luck of the draw they can be more or less aggressive than a Texas but nevertheless I wouldn't try your luck. Go for a red tiger motaguense, they look relatively similar to a red terror but grow to be smaller look just as beautiful. Good luck and happy hunting tho.

I also agree, my only experience with true red terrors was with a male, and he taught me quite a bit a few years ago. However, once he hit about 7-8 inches, it was light day and night. Almost like a switch went off, he suddenly became so violent i had to put him in a 120 by himself. I finally found a
GORGEOUS 8" female for him and they spawned. Unfortunately once the eggs had been laid the male turned on the female and beat her up so bad overnight that by the time i woke up next morning it was too late... As said above, i agree. Texas and
Such are bullies. A male festae is a potential killer
