:ROFL:Haha.^.^.what?!:WHOA::screwy:

if cons had teeth like piranha, and were the size of oscars humans couldn't swim in the water....or probably sail in boats either...that aggressive.

+1 earlier posts!

Murderous little beasts. I once made the mistake of putting two juvenile convicts in a tank with Leleupi cichlids. The Leleupis were semi-aggressive, and I thought the two species would nose each other a little, then settle down to a more-or-less peaceful stand-off.

Nope. The juvenile convicts were maybe an inch long. The Leleupis were 4 - 5 inches long. The convicts relentlessly harassed any of them that dared come near the convict corner of the tank. Gave the convicts away, because of it.

They are very tough little fish. I have a ~3" con and he is slowly been taking over my 75 gallon tank. which has 2 7" Oscars, 6" GT, 6" Texas, 3" Jack Dempsey 2" Jag and a 4" common pleco. The con often is chasing the Jag around. This weekend I'm taking the Jag out and putting him in another tank since his tail fin has been nipped a few times this week by the con.
