How aggressive are salvini's

Think about what the brightest colors usually mean in nature, from poison dart frogs to coral snakes (stay away, or face the consequences).

This is such a good observation.

I've seen that salvinis really hate each other. If just let them roam around in the general population.

My only concern at the moment would be the 4 inch Jag swallowing (or trying to swallow) on of the 1/2 inch salvinis. They are probably not much bigger than feeders. Keep an eye out for that, but they are really great looking fish. Also, be careful if setting up a female and male as they can get very feisty once bonded and will carve out a portion of your tank for themselves.

Ok, here they look to be closer in size. I think that salvini is larger than 1/2 inch. 1/2 inch would be a tiny fry

Bright colors are to avoid confrontation, camouflage is what you must really look out for.
Big Cats, Sharks, Giant Snakes, etc...
Predators are the ones who blend in.

There's a reason why Parachromis Blend into their surroundings, they are the predators.

They seem a bit larger in the picture but 1/2inch was a rough estimate they could be anywhere from that to 3/4 inch but i know for sure the jag could fit them in his mouth as of now but once they hit 2 inches i will take out the divider because as wimpy as my jag is they could bully him lol
