How aggressive are texans?

I had a 10" Texas in a 156 with a 12" jag but had to get rid of it. The stupid thing would constantly be picking a fight with the jaguar and got all shredded up. He was no match. I thought they'd be alright since the jag and texas look nothing like each other. Lesson learned.

In my experience, snooks are like Peacock Bass - Easygoing and not aggressive - maybe a little chasing and territorial behavior, but no "bruising" Not a good match for a Texan, or another agro cichlid.

If this is the case, it might work out. My oscars seem to have a similar temperment. How large do snooks get?
