Here's a sub-adult. It still has over a foot to grow and full adults can weigh 150lbs. Think your glass is strong enough to stop a full on charge by one of these?

deffenetly a indoor pond fish .. the lfs I regularly visit has one in his overflow set up that a year ago was 4'' along in a ten gal . the fish is a foot an half at least by now.. un real growth I agree..

I would like to see a pic of your flathead. Have yet to see anyone keeping them in home setups. Did you catch it yourself?

Mine shares a 450gal with a similar fast growing flathead cat. I figure, by next fall, I'll have to move the 2 to the 650gal.

my friend's redtail catfish ate a clown knifefish that was around 1/2 it's size.
but it doesn't eat the oscars for some reason
