Well I have seen the question a thousand times. And Im sure someone at some point posted a thread about this but I have not seen it since Ive been here. So I ask for everyone....

How big can the rays get....????

Post how big your ray is/has gotten.??
what kind of ray it is.??
how long you have had it.??
what size was it to start with.??
how much you feed it now.??
and any other info you want to post.!!
Pics of the big ones would be cool also....

Female Motoro - 5" disc had her for a couple months - 3-4in when i got her

Would like everyone to show how big there biggest Ray is and what kind it is so everyone can get an idea how big they are going to get. That way these new owners have an idea what to expect in the future..

I currently have 7 reticulated sting rays 4 are new babies and one I just got when I bought a tank he came with it.

largest female is currently 14 inches I got her 3 years ago at 4 inches
largest male 10 inches gotten around the same time as the largest female by an aquantaince and then he came to me for better care. He was also around 4 inches when purchased. He became sexually mature about 9 months ago at 2.5 or so years old
smallest male is around 6 inches just got him with the new tank.
and 4 new babies 1 born in august 3 born in november all females between 2.5 to 4 inches.

larger rays are fed once a day earth worms, shrimp, talapia, pellets and anything else I throw in the tank. Babies are fed 1-2 times a day black worm and the first baby is onto cut up night crawlers now.

Picture is of the largest female just after she had the first baby in August 2010

cool ray. 14" is a good size for a Reticulated Stingray. What size tank do you have them in?

cool. Nice to see other people with retic rays also.
