I hear they don't get bigger than 10 inches is this true? All my other bichirs have passed him up in size except my delhezi. Has anybody have an albino seg that grew past 10 inches? I really want Dracula to get to 10 inches or bigger.

Probably will be 10 inches for a while but can get bigger but will need to keep the fish for a long time. Typicall 8-10 but 12 inchers can be achieved.

Hate to say it bro but u lucky if u get one past 8" it can be done but is very rare for a albino... If u can hit 10" with one be happy cause u did what most ppl cant
I kind of figured that. What could i do to give him the best chance at it. 25% water change every week, varied diet (with the pellets) what else could i do?

There are on occasion members here posting albinos for sale and they were like 11-12 inchers. While ago. Probably eyeballed and maybe realistically like 10 inches. Increase water changes to 2 times per week and vary the diet. hope for the best. Nice albino by the way. Looks very active.

It boils down to genetics. If you got one that hasn't been inbred/linebred over and over again, you could have a possibility of having one over 8" On average, I heard more 8" max sizes on Albino Sens than any other size. I actually wish mine would hit the 8" mark.

Like it's been said above. You can only do so much until the rest is left up to genetics. If you wanted to give it the best shot. I'd feed it every day, put it in the biggest tank you can, put as much filtration as you can on the tank, and do as many water changes as possible. It's really just doing what you do decently (water changes, feeding, tank size, etc..,) and maxing it out at what you can. Other than that there's really nothing else you can do.
