Well i think im going to get a 30" wide tank instead of a 3' wide tank because its a ton cheaper. What im wondering is if i get that tank, could i still get peacock bass, ocellaris in particular? Any feedback is much appreciated.

they get 24-26 inches full grown.. around that

Youll be fine in that tank for a while..

takes a while to get the fish to 24", i think it will work for a long time!

i have a question, for a group of cichla, would a 6'x3' wide tank be better or would 8'x30"wide be a better tank because i can get both for the same price? Cause if a if cichla gets to 24" than 30" seems like more than enough space to turn, 6"? But if its not then let me know

if you can get the 3ft wide at the same cost, then just get that.

alright, just wondering here but in the longrun, if i want to get a group of like 6 or so would the wider tank still be better or would you longer one?

I would say longer is better on this one. I would rather have an extra 2 feet of length than a little deeper for a group of Ocellaris Bass. They would have more swimming room.
