How big do planiceps get?

Might not hurt to get one from a local fish store to start. Thats what I did and I got mine for only $44 and if something happens to it I don't lose a lot of money on it. Then as I get more experienced with stingrays I'll go for the more expensive ones. Just do the reaserch if you already haven't and just make sure it is healthy before you buy it. Just an idea.

Well thats a good reason then. Best of luck.

hey rott - I've talked to that guy Larry before, I find him quite amusing. But yeah his tanks look dirty with **** filtration, and his site is full of falsities.

i know they always label their fish as a more expensive breed they have outrageous prices and they think that they are fish gods and they dont know crap i tell them their wrong they agree and dont change the price tags it kills me plus they jam huge fish into little tanks i have seen 18" aros in a ten gallon tank what the f?&^k

HAHA.... I just skimmed the site. It's nice how they recommend feeder goldfish left and right. Not fish, but I really liked the lizard section, particularly the pictures of niles in the water monitor info section.

But yeah, planiceps get ginormous. Cool though if you have the space.
