while doing some research on these guys there are no definite statements about their size.
Only thing every source is saying: They stay smaller than Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps, scrophus and Liposarcus pardalis (and similar).
But this just says they won't grow to 50cm like the other species.
Some sources say 40cm max. other say 30cm is the common length they reach.
If you've kept this species how big did your specimen grow?
And how big was the largest one you've ever seen?
I'm not thinking about buying one in a store because there are uncountable specimen in 10-100gal waiting for someone to get them out of there.
