how big do salvinis get?

not sure but iam a new owner by two weeks to a 4inch sal.......

for the people that have them, how aggressive are they?

From my experience...a breeding pair is really aggressive. The Male was aggressive no matter what, the female was aggressive, but not as bad as the male.

Mine were pretty docile. The female was the more aggressive of the two but still pretty tame. I have seen Sals be very aggressive though particularly when spawning. My male was around 6" when he passed, but was short bodied so if he was full length he'd have been closer to 7 or 8". My female was 5".

Ive always heard like 7" for a Male ,and about 6" for a female.

Males can reach up to around 10" in Aquaria, Females around 7-8". Dominant and exceptional specimens obviously, but it's hardly rare to have a dominant Salvini.
