Hello someone please let me know he is about 5 and half inches now someone help i have seven other never did research but these are some of the ost off the wall swimming fish i have ever encountered
First off, always do research. I don't think anyone can stress this enough. Most reach 12-14'' in the aquarium, and the biggest ones are recorded upwards of 24''. That's two feet. Not to mention you have 8 of them.
And these are only freshwater fish when they're young. Later on they NEED Brackish water SG 1.015 or above. Eventually, when almost fully grown they need full marine water.
I wouldn't be so blunt if it wasn't for the fact that you bought 8, didn't do research, and then got seemingly upset when no one answered your question in 3 hours. Many threads go days without a reply. So unless you have a very large brackish tank that you can convert to marine soon (and I mean LARGE.. 8 two-feet fish are going to need a massive saltwater tank eventually. Especially considering Hexanematichthys seemanni is pretty territorial to conspecifics).
are you an experti just called my local expert and he said that he has had them up to 18 inches and they are fine with other freshwater fish jacks oscars etc. this was a test know your stuff before you try to deny somone of there fish keeping your a fraud
i have a 180 i was going to keep two in and you know how they say they do not breed in captivity lol total falsification thats how i got 8 omg who is the real mfk
So they bred at 5 1/2 inches? And they bred for you, but you don't know how big they get, that they need full marine (which is definately true) and then 6 eggs hatched? Sorry, but this kind of seems like a tad bit of a lie.
