How big for a Jar and a Silver and other various beasts?

O really. It would cost that much extra for having the glass or acryllic a little thicker . Wow I know what I'm NOT going to do with my monster tank thanks for the help.

IMHO 8x3x3 would be fine for those guys ... hell they'd actually have to consider themselves lucky because most people wouldn't give them that kinda room.

Why not go for an extra 12-24" of height though ... it would look amazing!

I agree it would look great, but I think the sheets of acrylic big enough are alot of money.. The last time I was at this place the guy told me he could give me a good deal if he could use 8'x3' (I wanted 10') sheets of acrylic. I guess he has a lot or something?

As far as filtration goes I was thinking about a 55 gallon sump and two canisters, but I don't know anything about sumps.

I think it will be a bad ass tank... I just want all the fish I have now in 7 different tanks and a small pond to be in there. Is that too much to ask?
