we are working on a bigger one in the near future.. but no matter how big it is.. i think there will be the same threat of breakage.. we put them in our pond for a month but they would not eat and almost died..had to put them back where they could see out.. What happen to your three pacu?

I sold them to another hobbyist. They weren't worth the hassel. Our new house is being built at the moment, which includes a 5mx4mx1.5m limestone tank with a couple large viewing panels. Will get some pics up as it comes along. At the moment the house is just a pad.

You must be so excited ... especially that you have the opportunity to plan it with a NEW house.. lots of luck and i hope you don't have to wait toooo long. I would be so anxious Looking forward to pics sometime!!

really think that many people over the US order live snakeheads for food?

5 years ago=yes, way more than you think. in asian food markets, you could find LIVE snakeheads, even here in cali, where they have been banned for 20 or so years. so one more time to that guy and his dinner

No wonder i liked that fish soooo much.. i love the look of snakeheads but the body and the color on that guy was awesome.. you cannot have them either

I have had the pair of pacu 8 years and the one is about 26 inches and 4 inches thick ..the other is a little smaller..thank you..

I suggest you rearrange the plants in the pacu tank... maybe move them to one or two clusters...

Wow great thread, lot's of pics. Nice pacu's Red Devil. I can't post any pics but my biggest right now is either my arro or my clown knife, both around 18 inches or so.
