pound for pound the meanest monster i ever owned. he is a monsterous full inch and will give you nightmares for years to come!

Oh he is awesome.. i just got one.. they are definitly monsters in their own right.. i do not care what size they are..from what i can tell with mine they are beautiful but deadly ..they will continue to stalk their pray until with one lightening fast bolt they are gone..Mine was eating a little bit of this and that, but i finally had to throw a few guppies in so he would not get weak or sick from not eating much... and i was shocked at the attack..and at 11 or 12 inches I definitly concider this monster.. beautiful monster..they are so elegant..

yes, they do inhale there food, its really amazing to watch them stalk there prey. i cant wait till mine gets 20"+.... post a pic of yours

Here's my biggest, he's a 24" Red Tail Golden, I have a silver thats longer but doesn't have near the mass.
