Hey guys, im planning on upgrading my 55 to something larger but i need to know what the minium would be. I have a Salvini,JD,GT and a Con. I was thinking something like 90 gallon? What do you guys think would the a good size for these 4? I cant get something HUGE like a 180 for them even though i would LOVE to but its just not gonna happen anytime soon. I kind wanna add a Texas to the tank but i dont wanna have to go over 125 if i dont need to. If i added a Tex how big of a tank would i need then? I have no clue how big Texas's get so dont get mad if they get huge:nilly:

Thanks,
Spencer

IMO if you go for a 125g you should be ok to add a texas. If you are going to get one it would be a good idea to add it when you add the others to the new tank so there are no terrortories set up.

:iagree: 125 will work great if you add the tx

a 90 will be fine for the other 4.

but if you are getting a 125 might as weel get the 180 they are both 6'

Its the weight facter though, Its going on the first floor in the summer kitchen and where not sure if the house will hold a huge tank or not and dont really wanna risk it. We dont think it will hold because it a old house but we could be wrong because back in the old days didnt they competly over build house's? so there much stronger? I think i might jut end up getting the something between a 90 and 125 and if are floor can hold it a 125.

Spencer

75-90 (same footprint) would be okay for the 4.

If you're thinking of going with a 125, forget about it. Do yourself a favor, save a few extra bucks and pick up a 180 or 215 which is a 6' x 2' footprint compared to the 125's (or 135's) 6' x 18" footprint. It doesn't sound like much of a difference but it really is. If you get a 125 you'll be wanting to upgrade again in less than a year I promise. I know you said you can't but it's well worth it.

Edit*** nevermind I just noticed the weight factor post. Sorry :(.
