How big of a tank do I need ?

a 200g tank would give you 4 very happy oscars when they reach full size, unless it has some horrible footprint to it. and leave you a bit of room for a couple smaller fish too counting you have good filtration and keep up with your maintenance

It's a river tank that's what they called it anyways . Not to tall but long and wide.

Any idea of the footprint? Id say 150 minimum with good filtration and decor.

long and wide is good, as long as its got enough depth for them to be able to swim up and down a bit in the tank. length is great for them to be able to swim back and forth and the width is nice for them to turn around comfortably.
