How big of a tank would you need for 3 Oscars, possibly 4, 3 Firemouths, a Couple Cats (maturing around a foot or a couple inches more)...and if possible a couple other Cichlids that would get along fine with the other fish?

Reason I ask is I have some young ones, and am just trying to budget out for a bigger tank and I just don't know what to get yet....and am looking for some ideas....here they are in their 125

Anybody ever seen an Oscar with this Greenish/Blue Color to them? It is like he has a shine,

180+. All depends on exactly what you want to add with them.

That is another thing....If you guys could give some recommendations of cool fish/entertaining fish that would be awesome.

A 240 would be the minimum IMO for that collection. You might get by for a while with a standard 180 but you'll need the extra territory sooner rather than later. A 300 tall would be an even better choice. (same footprint as the 240 but taller.)

300 wide would be a better choice than a 300 tall, 8'x30"x24".

imo 180-240 would do alright

Any recommendations that would go well with these fellas in a 300 tall? Just checked around on prices and by the time they need it I should be able to pitch the money over.

Nevermind, if the 300 has the same platform as the 240 I guess that wouldn't allow room for anymore fish really....

How about some ideas for the 125 once it is empty?

Not to be crass...but having been in the hobby for 30 years or so....finding a use for an empty tank is never a problem....LOL

How about a nice african set up? or a school of angels?
