How big tank does a tiger shovelnose catfish need?

I've got a 110 g (56x24x20 inches) is that big enough?

the 110 will work for a short while however if you want to keep him long term plan on something 300+

no. neither. each will outgrow the tank in about a year or sooner. you would need something larger in the near future. check these links out.

Red tail cats get huge, better plan on getting a monster tank for that thing

Yeah, both cats get massive. I've had TSN in the 5 foot range and RTC that weighed in over 70 lbs.

Bigger is better for these guys.

erik - they both grow huge, they'll need something much larger than a 4.5 x 2

We're talking about huge beefy fish trhat grow between 3 and 4 foot.

you should have done some resurch before you got the TSN

you will need a tank that is 8ft long x 4ft wide as a min tank size for a RTC or a TSN

I havent got one...this is my research
