how can fish just vanish?

I added a small school of 3 gar pike aka rocket gars and they just vanished on me? there is nothing in there that would swallow them whole.


It is a 125 tank and they did not jump out


but I checked all over they are always on the top but after 2 hours boom just no sign trace nothing? WTF

What are the other tank mates? I've had silver dollars disappear, somehow my red wolf ate them without leaving a trace.

What filter you are running on the tank ? Is the intake tube covered ?

If nothing else in the tank could have eaten the fish then they have to have jumped out.

Must have been eaten by something, how big were they, what and how big are their tank mates, if not eaten by fish, do you have cats, the furry type?

Eaten or slipped out of the tank. Did u checked around the area on the floor?

in with 6 inch peacocks 125 gallon

there is

no tube they could of swam in and they aren't inside the filters

they were 4 inch around all 3 wtf


I have a cat but the cat never goes in the basement where the tank is the cat is always outside shes never even been in the basement

the rocket gars were as big as they are

I HAD A spotted gar but I sold him FOR THE ROCKET GARS!!!!

also a fire eel and rope fish but they just eat black worms these gars had teeth

there is just no trace no body no nothing it happened in an hour I let them go in my tank went for a walk came back missing nothing was there


I checked around a billion times the floor but why would each commit suicide right after the other in tank that has a top
