How can I do lighting in this tank?

What I meant is I don't know how lighting would work on a tank like this. Most tank have the trim for a hood lighting system.
Easiest way to mount your lights would to screw them directly into the canopy. Since you don't plan on keeping live plants, the lighting is really up to you as to how many bulbs and what colors you want to highlight.
you have a couple of options, 1. screw the lights directly into the hood 2. get glass cut 3. go buy "egg crate" and cut it to length 4. hang it from the ceiling.

I will have to wait a couple days before I can flip it over to see how much space between the canopy and the glass lid thing. Right now I am repairing the bottom of the tank, if you look you can see the crack.
Wow, didn't notice that crack, thought it was on the floor. I'm not to sure about repairing the crack on the bottom of the tank, I would just replace the whole panel to be on the safe side, since it's going to have lots of pressure from the water column.

I vote hang the lights from the ceiling it makes a cool ripple effect on the ground and the bulbs are easyer to change.
Not trying to be an ass, But you may want to take another measurement there. There is no way that tank is over 75gal, if that.
It would make an OK terrarium, Its not going to do much as a fish tank though.
