How can I get a more colorful Green Terror?

Yes can someone please tell me where I can get a fish that looks like this? I will pay the money. Its for a show tank.

Find a store that can get a wild caught one. My male is a wild caught and everything I had hoped for when I first saw that picture online.

Sweet do you have a picture?
Sure.
This is when I first got him home. His fins sparkled in the light. Just stunning for a 2” fish I think. My captive bred female was very drab at this size.

And this was him last night. I turned the light on and snapped a picture while he was sleeping. Lol I wanted to get one with his fins out. All the pictures I take while he is awake his top fin and bottom fins are close to his body and don’t show how lovely they are.

And one when he is awake.

That riv is nice. Humpy head, nice shape, elogated fins, large caudal fin with a thick band. His colors definatly looked enhanced, but I'm sure they were fairly nice prior. You're not going to find one that looks exactly like that, but they're a lot of nice looking rivs out there. I never see stunning adult rivs come up for sale. You'll most likely have to purchase one young. Some rivs blossum as they grow, but I suggest remaining paitent. You can find quality rivs showing bold color, patterns, and elongated fins at a very young age (2-3"). Like MrsE88 MrsE88

You'll never know exactly how they'll turn out. One of the things I like about the species is how unique they can look within their own species. Jeff rapps @ tangledupincichlids has some stunning rivulatus from time to time. Id advise trying to get an exact picture of what you're purchasing if done so online. You may get a few stunners out of a batch, but there will also be a lot that are not. Beind in Florida you might find some luck locally. Lots of farms and importers. I bought mine from coastgemusa. I got an exact picture of the one I wanted. Good luck on your search.

Here was mine then and more recently under natural light and then tank light. And one of his kids around 2"
