Holy lack of punctuation marks batman!! Run on sentences are great because you can just read them and reread them and add your own emphasis where ever you want it at and it will change the whole attitude of the sentence sometimes but not always because a lot of the time it doesn't but that doesn't matter right now because we are supposed to be talkin about something else right?

Well, you could do several things. First you will need to stop feeding it 'tuffys'. Give it a few days to sulk and clean out its belly, make 'er all good and hungary. Once ye have fasted the beast fer a few days, toss some SINKING pellets into the overflow or outtake of your filter. This will make the prepared foods appear to be animate, which will make the pike more apt to trying them. It most likely won't eat them the first try, but will probably 'mouth' them, seeing if they are good for eating. If you're lucky, you might be able to get it to eat the first try. Don't give up if it doesn't the first time. Pikes are gluttons, and normally their bellies win them over. Main thing to do is fast it for a few days, then try to feed it some pellets for a few. If it doesn't eat anything in those days, then give it some more feeders for one day, then continue the ritual. You just have to be persistant. Gotta jet!!

You may also want to try soaking the pellets in water for a few minutes before feeding them. The goal here is to let the outside layer of the pellets soften a little. I find that fish are more likely to try to eat the pellets if they are not rock hard.

Don't let the pellets get mushy though, this may not be appetizing to your fish either. IMO they like a little crunch when eating pellets.

Good luck and be patient.

I was just messing, lol. Any luck with the pike? Adding fresh minced garlic to bowl of water and putting the pellets in it for about one minute or so might help. Seems to stimulate appetites! ;) Let us know how it goes! Greenaveli have a serious time getting his cobra onto pellets, but eventually he prevailed. Shadow is still having trouble gettin his marm off of feeders though, so each pike is unique. Belly crawlers are pretty accepting of foods though!! :)

My two pikes are already eating shrimps as they saw my jaguar and LSN eating the shrimps.

I rarely see my Bcrawler cuz shes always in hiding from my lentic, but all i throw in there is pellets and she keeps growing. Ive never seen her eat the pellets, but shes eating something.

Ouch!! Well that sucks a little bit!! Haven't really ever had a pike jump before personally, but its been known to happen. Serious bummer yo!! Hopefully you plan on investing in another pike, question is, which species ya gonna get this time? ;)
