How can I get rid of my Channel cat?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Dip it in liquid Nitrogen. Then you could revive it at a later date when you have room, when the technology is available. Then Ted Williams could play for the Red Sox again and John Wayne can make more movies.

I love eatiing catfish, only small ones though and they cannot be frozen first. Man you freeze some catfish and it tastes like mud. But on the other hand, my LFS is gonna take him, I gave them a call, should I just put him in a bucket? :D

it depends where you live if you can put it in a lake or river
because its body has addapted to the heated tank
so it has a possibility of dying
if you want it to live sell it to a petstore
you could even possibly get enough money to replace the eaten fish

DOn't give it to anyone... EAT IT>>> you'll love it.... !!mmmmMMMMMMmmmmm!!!

I live in CA, A place called Indian Lakes, a developement near Coaresgold. Bring the fish here and release it. It's a Chanell Cat (a game fish, a game fish), not a stingray. Bring it herererere.... Bring it herererere....

Bad turtall, no donut for you!
The problem with this was mentioned before. You chance releasing unfamiliar diseaes into the water.
Right now we have a nation wide problem among trout with a disease called whirling disease. It was caused by infected fish being planted in areas without it, then it spread to uninfected planted and also native trout.

Okay, I accept the slap. I did not think about diseases; only filets. I just figured twoplus four had a healthy chanell cat in his aquarium. I do not encourage release of fish (even though the trout hatchery is closer to here than our LFS):) There's a website I like to visit called aqualand pets plus. They're in Iowa' and they comment about the Pacu's that get caughtin the river there from time to time. Check 'em out.
