Don't feed live goldfish. Carry lots of disease. I fed a Jack Dempsey of mine feeders for years, and now he has cancer. I think the cacner is from all of the antibiotics and antiparasitics I had to give him because of the diseases that the feeders carry. I feed my bichirs sinking pellets, bloodworms, cyclops, daphnia, large plankton, and chunked up silversides. They love the fish especially! Also, your bichirs DO look healthy to me.....
How can I make my bichirs fatter?

I see. I mixed my 4 inch goliath african tiger fish with them although I recently added a 8 inch endli. Is it ok?
